so what kind of payara grows the fastest?

and what kind of paraya is locally called as vampire tetras? though i'm not even sure if vampire tetras are even parayas...@_@ sorry guys.. i'm a nood when it comes to these fishes..... what are vampire tetras?:/ armatuses?

ur best bet is to google payara. their are 4 diff payara, all are concidered vampire tetras, and yes armatus is the biggest and grows the fastest. too much info can be listed. any specific questions? their are alot of payara owners on this site and others.

I personally wouldn't mix them with anything you mentioned above. Armatus are just a little too expensive to risk....But I suppose if they are all the same size you might be all-right. I couldn't afford to gamble like that though.

Dont worry about searching the web. Search this site and you will find tons of info on the red-tail payara.
