Payed for my first ray!!!!!

Well I finally took the plunge after 2 weeks of research of paying for my motoro; he should be arriving on Friday and I can't wait, I'm currently in the process of changing my small quarantine tank from gravel to sand however there are 2 small plecos and a catfish in there I cant find anything saying other than it could be risky a stingray with plecos due to them sucking on the slime coat.

So I was wondering is it really such a bad idea to have these together I've paid a decent amount of money for my ray and I don't want it to die!

really depends on the type, i got two galaxy plecos and two queen arabesque plecos and i dont have a problem

Just keep a close eye on them and be ready to remove the plecos if they become a problem. I've kept a medusa, gold nugget, and blue panaque with my rays in the past with no problems. Really depends on the individual fish.
