Paypal, Delivery Lies? What Happens?

Hey Everyone,

Just curious if I was to ship something through paypal, and the buyer lies that he didn't get the delivery even tho I did send it out happens? He gets what I sold and I lose money? Im thinking of maybe selling stuff on paypal more but I fear the possibility of a buyer lying so far has not happened as I only sold and shipped three items through paypal (various items).

Alway use a tracking number when shipping something. When they claim they don't get it u submit your tracking number to pay pal ,pay pal verify the tracking number if the person has gotten shipment and case close you don't have to refund anything.

Werd! Seriously almost every delivery service including regular Post Office can give you a tracking number that'd be easy enough to screen shot and send to paypal. Probably the only thing they can do is claim it was not as described(open, missing things, etc.) which if you take a pic of the article being put into the mailing package and screenshot your description and are of course honest you should be good.

You can always pay a little extra on the shipping to require a signature if you are really concerned about it.

always get a tracking number and for anything over $250 i use signature confirmation.
