What species of peacock bass would stay the smallest ? I was wondering If any of the peacock bass species could live all their life in a 150 or let's say 4-5 years before upgrading them ? Could they be put alone or usually need to be in groups ? I rarely see them alone

150 is small. 250 min. is more realistic. But it also depends on the width of the tank. A tank that is 28” deep and 20” tall is much more realistic than vice versa if you want your fish to be healthy and comfortable

My tank is a big weird it's a diy plywood tank 5x2x2. The length is my real big problem

A 14” kel probably needs about 28” to turn around. Your already 4” short for him to make a u turn. Never mind comfortably be able to swim
