PB Tank Stand

Building a 29 gallon temporary tank stand would wood and gorilla glue work? He is small so I thought it would be fine because he is getting bullied due to size.

you need screws.
glue will not support the weight of a 29/30 gal tank, even PL glue.
it's not the size of the fish, it's the volume and weight of the water on top of the stand

Also don't forget to predrill the parts before screwing. Otherwise you will split the wood and the screws will do nothing.

Glue and scotch tape, get rid of the wood and use styrofoam

you dont necessarily need to pre drill.
if youre not comofortable, sure. or depending on the size of the screws, it might be worth it.
3" screws should be fine.
