I just picked up another pbass tonight and put him in with my other pbass. There about the same size at 3'' and the new one is ramming into the other one chasing him around the tank. Is this normal or am i going to have to separate them?

pretty normal their just establishing who the alpha male is..

small peacock bass do that ALL of the time.. i get a kick out of watching my little guys torment each other.

no worries happy to help :D

You will get used to it! I have the same problem right now. If you think you need to seperate them do it. But usually it works itself out. I would keep an eye on the situation just to be safe.

there will always be aggression with cichla if you ask me.

man my biggest male swims circles around my other cichla flaring.. it looks like hes herding them or talking to them while he swims around them.. (and no im not crazy )
