Ok i have a 5inch Orino, 2 Tems 7inches, 1 8inch 2 bar mono, and a spangled ocell. Well i just bought a 6.5 inch clown loach and 4 4inch clowns and put them in the tank with the bass and the bass are all pissed off for some reason...now keep in mind i have alot of dats with them and the bass leave them alone so why are they getting all worked up over the clowns???? Any thoughts???

When you say "pissed off" are they swimming wildly, swimming sideways at the Loaches or straight up attacking the Loaches?

You're going to have problems in the future. Hope you have some alternative options.

It's probably best to separate. Have you tried rearranging the decor?

I agree 100% with both above. There are certain fish, and they are not always the same ones, that really piss other fish off. It is only a matter of time before one of the Cichla convinces itself that it can swallow one of the clown loaches, and then tries....and you end up with two dead fish. IMHO I would separate them ASAP.

yeah im putting them in another tank....I just thought it was strange how they acted towards the clowns i figured they could live together for awhile before i would have to worry they were going to get ate....i had a 6inch tem eat a almost 5inch yoyo loach i couldnt believe what i was seeing ended up having to remove the loach after it was dead. It sat in the mouth of the bass for 4 hours. And yes i added decorations but it didnt help

Yeh I would seperate too.. Had clown loaches in my tank before, it was one of those trial & tribulations thing.. Didn't work out.. Best of luck buddy..
