I have a 7 inch silver Aro and 4 5 inch Pbass, can these two species live in harmony? Both are fed very well and growing normally. I have them seperated now but would like to put them together. Anyone have any nightmare stories or positive stories? Thanks.

My favorite lfs has kept them together in the same tank succesfully. I dont have any experiance myself, but i have seen it done, as long as the fish are the same size, i dont see a problem

i think you'd be fine, neither are overly agressive and usually will only go after what will fit in their mouth...there is always and exception though!!

I think I might get a pbass and try it!

I've got an aro now and am going to get 3 pbass to go with it so, I will find out soon. I would go ahead and do it, just keep an eye on things.

all you can do is Try... to each fish his own personality:) My Pbass can be aggressive at times, just about every night or so they get really aggressive towards my Gar and Tsn

Oh great. I have a gar and TSN in onother tank that they will all go into within a year. Ug, I didnt need to hear that. But I will try the pbass and aro together this weekend. Thanks for the tips.

I would be more worried for the pbass, you gar can really eat a mouth full.

I would think that you would be fine. I have had both in the same tank before, but the only difference was that I had a rtc also. I woke up one day and the arro was gone, and the catfish had a really big belly.

ya my 6" aro was with my 3" pb and there did fine i mean as long as ur not starving them and there is tank space u should be fine
