Just curious would a channa micropeltes and pbass co-exist together if they are relatively the same size...all being about 5"?

only reason why i ask is because I have seen them mixed and was a bit surprised to see them together with other fish...even some with asian aros :WHOA:

I'd guess that the snakehead would have to be kept fat and well fed in order for it not to get hungry and aggressive.

i always thought that the big reason why snakeheads are banned in the US is becaue they are killing machines?

i was told, i have done no research.. i was told that they kill entire populations of fish in lakes and foul the water and then move on to the next body of water.

if this is even close to true, i would be wary. and when it comes to my peacock bass i just wouldn't risk it.

at a tiny size, perhaps. but as phil said. they'd grow way faster and then yr peabass are dead.

im betting the tank was in asia?
where the fish were probably filled to their gut everyday.
hence a fat, happy snakehead which wont kill tankmates.

I've never had a micro but I had 4 obscura with some bass for a bit and I had to take them out. They didn't kill any bass but a few were wounded. I thought I could wing it temporarily until I freed up space in another tank. Anyway, bad idea I'd say. I've never had a micro though.
