Pbass and TSN all right together??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think the tsn will eventually eat your pbass.

thats a close call, but IMO its good to have a bigger bass then TSN...I hope it wokrs out, if ya see the tsn chasing around the bass or if it is beat up, seperate!!!

I had the opposite problem with my at the time 8" pbass picking on my 6" TSN. He now has a bent upper lip because of it. As long as your pbass equal the growth rate of your TSN, then they should be fine.

here are how my to started out last aug, tsn 2-3"'s and pbass 1-2"'s with power feeding at first my two grew at a great rate in a 90g tank, today the pbas is in a 120g at 9"'s and the tsn is about to be moved to a 250g pond for the summer at10"'s never had aggression between the two and feel they work great together because tsn is on the bottom and pbass is at the top of the tank!! :headbang2 :screwy: so go for it!!:WHOA:

I think the answer is yes with a but. They both will grow rapidly in the first year, and pbass will slow down after 12". The TSN will still growing fast until up to 24", then it will slow down. It's the time between year 2 and 4 that's most critical, that during this period the TSN is not more than twice as long as the pbass. But eventually when the pbass reaches to 18"-24", TSN will most likely max out at 36", then they both can be together for life.

i've kept a pbass with a TSN with no problems at all. as long as they were both feed well, they kept to themselves. got them both around 2in., pbass got to 10in. and TSN 16in. before they died due to BI.
