Pbass at my LFS

Here is a picture of a peacock bass at my LFS:



Sorry about the crappy picture, but the little guy refused to cooperate. Anyway, the owner says it’s a golden kelberi, which is why it’s so expensive. It is only about 4”, but already has a lot of green color. If I were to get a peacock bass for my tank, do you all think this could be worth getting? I do feel like it’s a bit expensive, but I also would not have to pay for shipping.

I agree. The only reason I was considering it is because I won’t have to pay for overnight shipping from an online source. If I have to order online then a $15 fish easily turns into a $75-100 fish.

Well, I’m extremely torn right now. I’m considering getting this guy. However, my wife and I have talked about it and if I get this fish (and an endli poly), then I have to wait a year before getting any more, and I have to wait another year before getting another drone to replace the one that, get this, she flew into a tree. Decisions, decisions...

Because my wife is not too thrilled with my aquariums, and we are working on some family planning that has her definitely not wanting to spend $100 on fish. Lol

She’s got me on quite a bit of other stuff I spend money on. I like to eat out a lot and drink a lot of beer.
