Pbass blackish/darked in color.

Hey MFK

My pbass gets dark/blackish sometimes. Just want to find out why is it so? Is it coz i have on my lighting til they got a "sun tan" kind of thing?

Ill get a pic 2mor with my other computer.

Their color will change based on their mood. If they are unhappy or stressed they usually turn brown or black, sometimes they may do it after they eat... Just happens.

Means there is nth i could to make them brighter?

I dont see the pic.... but there isnt too much, make sure you have the temp at around 86-88 degrees that will keep their immune system up keeping them from catching bugs. keep them fed and they shouldnt pick on each other if you have more than one...

It's normal for Guyana Ocells to turn dark before brightening up. I believe Monster Fish Master had the same effect as your current Guyana Ocell. Water quality also effects color of Pbass. Look at Scat(opatehdg) sp. is way off, Black water thread. Look how different his Kelberi's look.
