Pbass considerations - appreciate your input

Im reposting because the website was not responding. I have been amazed by many of the PB set ups on MFK and am considering my next tank - probably a 6 x 2 x 2 acrylic. What do I need to consider about the various PB? Can you keep rays in the same tank?

My LFS says that they can get Xingu for me. I'd rather not go down one path and then find that I wish I had another. What are the advantages/disadvantages of the various species? Any feedback appreciated.

Everyone experience will be different that one anothers simply because pbass all have different temperments, one mans Azuls might be a baby while another mans Azul may be a monster and the same goes for all the other species. They all get big and are my fav fish to keep. Yes its ok to have rays with pbass. I currently have 4 pbass with 2 rays.

I keep 3 but the Cichlids/Cichla (Peacock Bass) guys will definitely give you better advise there. A 6x2x2 will probably give you a year or two and then you will have to upgrade specially if you are keeping a group which is highly advised. Most do mix the species of their Cichla. The Cichla itch will definitely make you buy larger and larger tanks along the way.
