Alright so my pbass tank consists of 1 hybrid, 3 sp columbia(mono/occell), and 2 kelberis. 5 out of the six are destroying tilapia filets that I miss cichlid biogold into it so they get extra nutrients. But I was wondering what else should I feed them? Is the tilapia with biogold enough because they don't bother pellets with out the tilapia?

And also the only bass in there that doesn't take tilapia and gets feeders twice a week or so. I know that's prolly not enough but I don't want to spoil the other fish on feeders. So what size should I wait to start starving the bass to get it to take tilapia or other foods? Right now it is about 4" where as all the other ones are about 6-7".

Sounds like a good diet to me. You can add shrimp to.

I agree that this diet sounds good.

For the 1 fish who isn't eating tilapia - since all the others are eating it, I think if you just stop feeding feeders all together, he will catch on once he gets hungry enough. Or, you can try the method as desribed in Dmack's sticky using tilapia and feeders.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I was just worried about him starving. I think once I move all them to their bigger growout I'm going to isolate and train the small guy and maybe pick up some new small growouts. When do new zullies come in? Do I have to wait till next season?

You might have to wait awhile for zully's. But yeah, the runt can stay in the grow out and add him later.

Youve got a great head start on getting the loner off of live since the others smash prep food. But on some occasions there are fish that will simply refuse to take prep food, and will starve before they do. I have a Kelberi that is that way. Ive seen it go 5 weeks without food, and not so much as turn a nose to anything even after all that time. Drop in a feeder and BANG. Good luck with yours.
