pbass fishing

yo dudes and dudettes.
im jst a newbie at pbass fishing.:naughty:
my first tiem was yesterday and i caught just one pbass.
a mono.
it was about a foot long.:D
my question right now is..
what have you guys used that was the most succesful in catching them?
as in what bait/lure.
techniques etc.
just to share.
there was a swarm of baby pbass around 1 inch long.
there were around 1000 to 1500 of them!:WHOA:
i saw only one parent right below them.
she was nearly 2 feet long!:WHOA:
 
any pics of what you caught.... or pics of what you seen???
as far as techniques, same as fresh water bass... but more of a faster retrieve... plastics to topwater and crankbaits....

i caught one.
about a foot long.
i got a pic in my handphone.
i will upload as soon i find that stupid card uploader thing.
but no pics of the swarm.
sorry.
i dunno about fishing bass.
im in singapore and the closest thing would be pbass.
 
fast retrieve. White or pink soft 2-4" Jerkbaits are killer here in Hawaii. Along with hard jerks like Pinn minnows or Hair jigs. Anything you can catch a Largemouth with will work with the correct technique. I have even caught them on Texas rigged 6" worms. Guys catch tons of them here on flyfishing using shad flies. If all else fails Live bait always gets them.
 
okay.
some people here actually use dead prawn and just leave it there until a pbass eats it.
next time i'll buy a crankbait.
do surface lures or sinkng lures work better?
 
well there are surface, sub surface, suspending and then fast sinking
