Has anyone ever had problems with pbass and spotted gars together? im thinking of getting one maybe?

As long as they are a compatible Size where neither will size the other one up for food all should be fine. Be especially careful of the gar their eyes are a lot bigger than their stomach and they will sometimes try to eat things even if they are too big to swallow.
Ya Moe my favorite PB is now named Scarface... The gar is 13-15 inches and the PB are all three 1/3 the size his size.. And yet he has tried to indulge in three different PB snacks!!!

They slowly sneak up on their food, while the pbass will just smash it right away. You will have a hard time gettin food to the gar!
I havent had any problems as soon as the gar got settled in and was identifiyed as NOT FOOD. My pb did pester mine for about an hour or 2 then he stopped
