Pbass has eye problem help.please

His eye looks to.be swollen out and a dark red color. Please help so I don't lose his eye or him. He is a shortbody peacock bass so.a very rare fish and my PRIZED posession. Thanks guys

Id say tblsp of salt/gallon. Turn lites off and dont bother for a few days and he should be healing eventually!

I recently got a 9in orino from a buddy whose much larger kelberis were beating it up pretty badly. His fins were tattered and one of his eyes looked similiar but much worse than yours, it looked completely filled w/ blood and appeared to be popping out of his head almost. Well its been a month or so and I've been treating w/ salt, clean water, and vita chem weekly and I have to tell you his eye is almost completely healed. If you would have saw it when I got it, you wouldn't believe it was the same fish. With a little tlc, your prized possession should be fine...
