i heard 240 was minimum for pbass, so when i upgrade to my 246g tall(6'-2'-31"), i was wondering if pbass would go fine with the fish i have now and how many i should get and what species. along with the fish in my sig ill also have a black aro.

You could try it but watch some of those smaller fish like acara's. raphael, etc eventually they might become lunch. Since you're tank is only 24" wide I would just get mono's. Really they're about the best looking common bass anyways.
Also have to watch to make sure that oscar/pike don't pick on small bass if you get 'em and that the black arrow doesn't eat 'em.

thanks for the advice, how many should i get and how big do monos get? i tried searching for info on monos on the internet but couldnt find anything so any info on them or pbass in general is appreciated.
It's hard to say you have alot of different things in there now. I will say pbass do better in groups, but people do keep single pbass with other stuff fine. IMO I like 3 or more but 3 2' fish in a 240 with alot of other stuff is overstock to alot of people.
I think thetrust has 6 11"-20" er's in a 250, but nothing else in there. And if you saw the tank they look like alot of fish. Don't get me wrong, awesome but alot of fish.

ill end up moving the pictuses and blue acara to a different tank due to their small size anyway, and the raphael is always under a piece of wood so could i do three?
IMO I'd get up to 6 small 3 inchers and when they get to around 8" sell off three or four of them. Just keep the best looking. Two or three of them will last up two plus years in that 250.... I'd watch the rest of your fish though, they could become food quick! Remember young pbass grow about an inch a month until around 8"-10"....
All the ones in the hobby can get that big.... Intermedia is the only one that wouldn't, but thats not in the hobby... yet!
