I dont know if I am worrying too much or if my the color on my bass is actually fading. I wasnt sure if it was a part of growth either. My ph is right around 7 and my temp is a little over 81f. BTW I dont know why my phone is sending different sized pictures.

The black on them is what I am worried they are losing.

I noticed that to when ever they are newly introduced they look better then start to fade but if you do a huge 50% water change they look nice again. I guess they color up in new water then.

I hope they grow out of it. They seemed to lose color when I took the managuense out of the tank as well. I am not sure if the water change would do it because I usually do a 15-25% every 4 days to a week. Who knows maybe I need to do more.

the black on bass especially seems to be based upon thier moods .When you took out the Managuense you put the bass at ease! Also depends on witch is the dominant fish!!

My bass spend most of their time trying to figure out what my stingray is now lol. They sit in the corner watching and always seem to have an eye on him. I cant blame them after reading when a stingray bites or whatever now.

I never would have thought theyd lose that much color because something is sitting on the bottom lol. But it does make sense. Hopefully they get used to him soon.

I started the starving process to get them on pellet yesterday. Its not fair that the ray smashes it as well as 2 cichla and the others swim away from it haha.
