So, I have been looking for a beadered Dragon for a while now. I had one when I was little and really liked them, and looking to get another. So I was at PetSmart the other day looking at UV bulds. So I left remembering what I had to get whenever they would go on sale. So I'm at home watching my little Tapajos Pinima eat Bloodworms so I turn the tank light off and open the blinds behind the tank so sunlight can get into the tank, so he can get some sun. Then I remember the UV buld. And also I read on the Hikari Massivores and it says "To promote the development of brilliant colors in fish who’s natural environment is exposed to higher levels of UV from the sun, we include the highest grade of carotenoid we could develop through modern bio-technology. Now your fish can look as good as you expected them to, always! *Test Goldfish were approximately 1.3g total body weight." So this is my question, If I put a UV light on my tank, will my Pinimas grow to have more vibrant, more natural looking color? So can someone please help me. Thanks

I'm curious to see the answer.

No a Uv is for clarity and sterilization the light is not exposed ....

Ok now that's sorted out.

Any input on that?
