I got two Ocellaris about 6-8 in. about 4 days ago that aren't eating anything I feed it. I have tried goldfish, krill, pellets. Is there any other type of food source I should try? I don't want them to starve to death. Thinking about trying some giant danios and breeding them for food.

Are they skinny?

a good idea is not to feed them feeders, as they are low nutrient and tend to carry diseases. if they dont eat for in the next two days i would start to worry. just be patient and continue to offer them food. also ask your lfs what they were feeding them at the store

They may just need a little more time to settle in... Sounds like you have enough "teaching" going on...if that even works. At that size, they can go a little while without food. They don't look that skinny yet. Maybe try live blackworms or nightcrawlers...anybody ever try crickets to get them attacking the surface? Of course, that prob wouldn't work for you as the aro would probably get them all (at least until the bass caught on) and you'd end up spending a ton of money on crickets.

:iagree: ;)

Give em a week... If not in a week... Givem another week... Then start to worry alittle... :)

Prolly just need time to settle in
Put a half dose of pimafix if they still aren't eating tomorrow (just in case of internal parasites) If they haven't eaten in four days be worried
