Pbass on pellets

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My pbass eat hikari pellets tetra cichlid sticks freeze dried krill as well as frozen shrimp smelt worms of all kinds etc didnt take to crickets very well. But i do give the occassional feeder too.

The ones I got from Rallysman were already well trained. The smaller ones needed some work, but all my pbass are now eating pellets. I start with frozen krill, and induce a strike by throwing it at the water. After a few weeks from this, they anticipate these surface strikes at feeding time. Then substitute pellets. They might spit them out at first, but be persistent.

My pair of PBs have been taking sinking crumbles and salmon pellets since a few days after I brought them home. I didn't need to train them. They just followed the lead of the red bay snooks in with them.

I prefer live africans and smelt.. But mine are and have been on pellets for some time now.

My Gar even started eating pellets....
