i am currently in the process of upgrading my tank to a much larger size in order to house a pbass and an lmb.
i know that pbass grow very fast but are also a lot of fun to take care of. i am also aware that mono is one of the smallest species of pbass. starting from the largest to the smallest, could anyone please list the species of pbass? also could someone tell me what tank size i need to accomodate these 2 fish. thank you
also specific sizes for the different species of pbass would be appreciated.

well to start off the Cichla Intermedia is the smallest of most peacock basses...and largest would be Cichla Temensis...for a Cichla Monoculus and Large Mouth Bass to live together i would give say a 300 gallon tank...maybe more or less depending on how many i wanted...Cichla Temensis gets to 3',LMB ehh not really sure..., Cichla Orinocensis is one to be favored by many and gets to abuot 26-28" and Monoculus and Ocellaris gets about 18-24" and i think Intermedia gets to be less than 20"...

around that yea hes pretty right. and from self expreience they dont grow to fast. fast would be RTCxhybrid if uve kept one. but if you powerfeed 3x day they can hit 4-5in in a month from birth. they usually hit max size at year 2 but ive seen huge pbass and there only in first couple months. so if i where you and wasnt in a rush about growing my bass i would feed emm 1-2twise a day and not to much.

yea i agree on the feeding part...and the rest...the more you feed the more faster it will grow and the less you feed them the more time you have to set up a bigger tank later on for them...

tems get the largest,3 feet, and grow the fastest.
monos, which are the most common, get to around 2 feet.
intermedia get to 20 inches and are the smallest.
good luck finding one.
there are lots of other species, most getting to a little more than 2 feet.
