i have to 2monos around 5-6inches and had them for about a month now and there still very skiddish. when will this stop . im askin becasue want to try to get them off feeders and im trying the way dmack did it by throwing in feeders one by one then throwing in frozen food or pellets but its hard when i try to do this they just swim to the corner and wait till i leave then eat the feeders. if anybody had this problem can you let me know what you did?

starve them for a week and then feed them dried blood worms to feed for a week 3 weeks ....then 1/2 dried blood worm and 1/2 small pellet....so on and so forth.

i started a thread like this a few weeks back. i moved my pbass from a 55g to a 125g. they went from loving people around the tank to ramming walls whenever anyone was within sight. it went on a few weeks. i added a lot of plants and driftwood and that (along with a few weeks in their new tank) has broght them back to normal. They eagerly swim to me whenever i open the door looking for food. i would just try more cover - maybe other tankmates depending on your tank size, and time. just my 2 cents...

thats how my 4 orinos acted when i first got them...they been like it for the first 2 days...and only yesterday was the last day they been skittish...mines are all coming to the front of the tank and wanting food once they see me in the front of the tank watching them! Well thats just how mines were...all i did was stay with them for so many hours a day so they get to know you more and feel more confortable seeing you...but when people see them they don't do anything but come up but not like how they come up to see me...when they see some ppl they don't know im guessing their taking their cautiousness to swim up slowly
