pbass tail fin

i just notice that one of my baby pbass has his tail fin cut off or got bitten off, i want to know if the fin is going to grow back? all comments are welcome..............thanks

how bad is it? like a lttle bit nipped off, or a good chunk of his tails gone? got any pics?

i don't see any cut or bite mark in the tail itself but the fin is gone. its not bleeding or anything.

if its not bleeding then it's not that inward to the meaty part of the tail...so if its not so severe give it a few weeks with raised temps...aquarium salt and if you want get those Stress Coat to give extra slime coat and it should heal pretty fast and do more regular water changes than usual =)

lunatics, no higher than 90 degrees, 86 - 88 is ideal. an extra air source is always a good idea at higher temps too.

yeah, i agree my lil bad ass got his fin split in half, got some stress coat, salt and higher temps. healed in two days or so...
