pbass tankmates, what do you keep yours with?

i have a 7 inch pbass kept with a 11inch o.b., 6 inch bala shark, 5inch nic cichlid, 2 large common pleco's, a king tiger pleco, 8 inch tire track eel and a 6 inch common crayfish... i would love to know what you keep with your pbass. i was thinkin about a florida gar but the guy @ my lfs said they wont get along.:nilly:

gar often dont go well with cichlids.
cichlid's often show a lot of aggression,especially during feeding.
this can cause a gar to bash its own snout in when it gets freaked out.
that being said,however,there are still many who have had luck keeping the two together.
im one of them.

anyways,my cichla are currently with other cichla and two pike cichlids.
soon theyll be re-introduced to the armatus.
they really beat him up,thats why he was separated.
 
I keep my 4 cichla with a Silver Aro, Lenticulata Pike, and an Albino Oscar. The pike is the most aggressive fish in the house.

I keep mine with Catfish, Ray's, Silvers, Vieja, Red's, Arrow, Wolf Cichlid (Parachromis), Cons, Cubans, Pikes (Cobra currently), JD, Texas etc.

I feel cichlids are acceptable as long as there size is taking into consideration. I think that Cichla hold there own in any situation giving the right condition's.
 
Naw....the pike was always in there. She hides behind the intake of the filters intill it's feeding time.
