Pbass /vacation

Hey you all ! :) i was just wondering if my pbass will be ok and other tankmates while i go New York for vacation until aug.6 so about 11 days im having my dad feed them every 2-3days just some bloodworms to hold them off until i get back. The pbass are only about 3" but are really fat from eating pellets and carnivore pellets i might be worried about my bichirs because one always dies while im on vacation due to jumping out or something dumb :( i just need some confirmations and tips on what i could do before i leave next morning
 
just make sure that you cover your tank really good so they dont jump out.. or get some sort of mesh top if you are worried about heat and just tape it down.. ive left my tank with bichirs for about 2 days they didnt jump out nor did my pbass :) hope it helps
 
11days is quite a while.....I would teach my dad how to do a wc and have him keep feeding pellets....just once a day.

Maybe you can bribe your dad for helping you. When you get back take him to the race track or fishing....something that intrests him as well as you. Im sure your dad will help you out especially if you provide a little father/son trip or day out when you get back.

How big is the tank? What is the filtration? Tankmates?
 
You are only talking 10 days. When I go away as long as my water is good I really do not worry about feeding them.
 
I left my Bass alone for 8 days, and all i did the day before i left was , a water change, and fed them as i walked out the door, and no issues when i returned....................Good luck.

thanks i finally got back today my fish were fine.My bad on the late reply was busy in New York :P only fish died was the pbass runt that didnt want to eat pellets like the rest of his pack
