Yea I have mine in with 3 out of the 5 Parachromis family. It should work until the cichla out grow the jags. Size and timing is everything.

the jag is just a tad bit bigger now i think. but in no time the pbass will make up the extra inch or two im sure. but both are too big to be snacks for the other.

Ive seen this before looks pretty cool...Right now I have my Orino with a male dovii but still see some Mach Charges from the dovii and some Flares from my Orino here and their but no real damage occuring. Yu should try the Cichla + Jag combo...should work if enough space and the Cichla not too small for the Jag
