Pbass with rays

Has anyone had experience keeping Peacock bass with rays? I want to add some with my rays (3 motoros 9"-13") but I don't want to have to worry about the bass when they get bigger. I used to have a couple of orange pike with them and I had to get rid of them because they started nipping the rays tail.

Yeh, I did it in the bass thread. Sorry, I just wanted to get as much info. I guess I should of figured if someone had rays and bass they would probably check both.

you may have problems getting food to the rays when the bass get bigger

That was one of my concerns. I don't want to overfeed the bass just so the food reaches the bottom. I would have to put on more filtration just to keep up.

i have 2 temensis and 6 stingrays

just use pvc tubeing to put the food in and put the end close to the bottem.

the way i feed my tank is in layers

each fish eats diffrent food types so its not hard to get food the rays

meal worms for the aros
prawn for the tigers
pellets for the rays

the rays also eat anything the other fish miss
