Mine are in similar conditions and there 5-6" right now. My background is the underwater roman pillars (Light Blue ) and the statue's are white. Ok just llok at my avitar! I also have natural mixed in with the black pebbels but for the most part it's black. Also same foods. Are there tails bright red? Also mine have the faintest color yellow around there ocelaris ( tail circle) and slightly around one of there three stripes. Can you post a pic of them ( you knew I was going to ask that right?) LOL >

I'm at school right now, When i first purchased them, the tails were bright red and yellow, but now that there in a tank with decorations there colors dont seem to come out. They have been in the tank i'd say about a week or two. the widebars are stable as can bee ( 5" ) and the gars have all there spots and stripes so Idk.

I'll grab some pics when I get home, for refrence its the 55gallon in my room that i posted pics of a lil while ago.

Edit : I would also Like to add that these monos came from peru ( i think peru, there wild ones from rapps, i bought out all his pbass with my last order ).

its almost like there not growing and they get smaller, only way I see a size difference is if I feed them live food every day.
