Today my 7 inch mono was swimming around and when I look back he had my 6-7inch tiger shovelnose catfish in his mouth!! I got the net and put him in a 30 gallon and he is pretty cut up.

Doh! That sux man, sorry to hear! I had the same feeling when I was watching my new gar and my RTC swallowed him whole! Sounds like your TSNC at least has a chance of recovery?

Ya he is doing ok for now, I might have to sell him when he recovers.

lol first time i heard the cat being eaten by the bass. hmm well, it might have amaged the bass if you removed the fish when it was in his mouth but it'll recover, imo get rid of the cat go all bass.

The bass spit him out and I netted him, and he is recovering fine.

Your starting to scare me man. I am about to add my 11" mono in my main tank here pretty soon. I hope my bichirs will be ok.

Just watch carefully. I had these two in with each other then I moved them in to a 150 and the bass tried to eat him!!! Luckily he lived thorough it though.!!!

I had her with a 8" ornate when she was about 8" and she really didn't notice her. I was going to switch the fish that I thought she would eat but after reading this I might have to up the number of fish on the "might eat" list.
