its a chain pickeral trust me i have one too that i had caught and i looked for the longest time for answers it took forever lol but the pickerals most distinct features are the non colored pigment free line on the side which yours shows fairly well and then the black line under the eye so its definatly a chain

chain pickerel cool one at that too.My son and I were trying to catch them that size out of a brook behind my house with a fish tank net zip tied on a pole Some fast little buggers.
