Peace river Fossils.
Here are some pics of fossils I have dug from the river. A little bit of everything.Bison Molar

Two large Mako shark teeth one small megalodon on the right


Large piece on the right, partial Mammoth molar, large piece back left Dugong vertebrate (ancient manatee like critter)


Glyptodont osteoderms (extinct giant armadillo like animal as big as a VW bug)

More to come. On my first post, I C&P from my thread on this subject on another forum. I hope I am not in trouble! Mods, I did not intend for that to link.

Here is the one and only complete megalodon tooth, along with a couple giant makos. The meg measures 2 inches, just a pup. They can be over 7 inches, such a shark would of been 70 ft long and ate whales. More from my shelfPB030003.JPG PB030004.JPG PB030001.JPG PB030008.JPG

Whoah very cool! What a collection

What's the smallest shark tooth that you have found? At one point I had collected a 3-5mm tooth on a beach in the UK but seem to have lost it :(
