Any input on this combination of cichlids ? They would be grown out in 55g, but eventually be in a 75g.

Swordtails

1 female Nic
1 Sajica AKA T-bar cichlid
1 Honduran Red Point
1 Firemouth
1 Rainbow cichlid (or maybe a pair or small group?)
1 Astatheros robertsoni and/or Amphilophus longimanus

And if I could find some... an Archocentrus spinosissimus.

Also, are there any CA bottom feeders?

Thanks

Never any guarantees with cichlids getting along, but most of those should be compatible. However, all together in a 75 is very overstocked. Nic, FM and Redpoint would be a nice pack. 6-7 or more fish, no. Regardless of size, non-schooling cichlids will stress from over crowding and the inevitable aggression that will occur.

Really? I have found with the non "killer" CA/SA ciclids that they seem to do well a little more crowded, because it disperses aggression. Obviously with very large or very aggressive cichlids it wont work because you cant have enough fish for it to work, unless you have a humongus tank.

I do already have the FM and the Sajica, and currently they are in a 55g with 8 other SA cichlids, the smallest being a Bolivian ram, the largest a full grown Guinacara, and they are fine now. I am upgrading that tank as soon as I get the new tank up, and to make it more authentic I was just thinking of seperating out the CA cichlids to give them their own tank, and getting a few more of the CA cichlids I have been eyeing up...
