Got another tank from a buddy of mine so I set up a red cherry shrimp tank its 55gal I added a few plants and moved a few fish from my other tank before they got eatn into this new tank. I have 7 cory cats one placeo one giant filter shrimp and 6 fancy guppies. Is this already to many fish for the tank? I wanted to get a few more schooling fish but I dont want to overload the tank

Definitly not too many fish, IMO if the pleco is a common, give it away =p, all they do is poop and get big, bad algea eaters etc. But yeah you could definitly add a nice school of fish in there, I personally like diamond tetra.

The pleco isnt going to get big hes about 3inches.. Hes a yellow fin I dont plan on putting any big fish in there.. I wana try and breed thoes corycats tho n the guppies I heard breed on their own.. Any schooling fish that would breed with out much effort?

If you want to have a really big colony of shrimp, i would advise getting rid of the fish or at least letting your shrimp colony get big enough that even if a lot of the shrimp babies get eaten, you don't lose out too much...
