Hi there,

I currently have a 180 gallon with a 12" ocellaris, a 8" peru mono, a 10" crenicichla Tapajos Red, and a 11" flag tail prochilodus.
I am setting up a new 450 gallon tank which is planned to hold these guys along with a 12" tigrinus I have in a 125 and possibly way down the road a lima shovel nose I have in a 75 who is only 4 inches. Anyway, I was looking for a more roundish good looking fish that could survive with my cichla and not be beaten to death that would fit in my South American biotype. Doesn't have to be from same part of river etc. but would like them to be South American fish. I really like some of the larger species of geophagus and also something like a red snook (petunia splendida) or something along that line. Basically just looking for suggestions of a more "peaceful" fish that can be kept with cichla and was curious to see what fish some of you keep with your bass and whose color really pops against their yellow / green hues. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
