My peacock bass had been hovering at the bottom lately. He is eating fine. He sometimes loses his black stripes. He chases his tank mate around. Could someone help?? Ideas nitrates a little high but did 50% water change..

2 peacock bass Aquaclear 110 filter 55 g. The peacock bass are only 4 inches right now. The eat blood worms and guppies goldfish.
Goldfish are probably some of the worst foods to feed a fish
I don’t feed them all the time. From time to time I drop maybe 4 in.. mostly little guppies or minnows and frozen blood worms are their diets..
If the goldfish aren't quarantined one can kill your whole tank, may be the problem
I have separate tanks for my feeders. I been making sure they don’t go into my tank until I feed.. The immediately get eaten no matter if it’s a guppy or goldfish. My bass seem great today no issues.. maybe my big guy was being a jerk to his littler friend.. thank you for helping I appreciate all the info
