Peacock bass ageessive or no?

I'm thinkin of gettin one ... Are they aggressive? Or do they eat anything small enough to fit in there mouth like oscars? ... The fish it will be with in the long run will be bichirs one is only 3" right now and a oscar and possibly a arowana few years down the road on that one tho

I wouldnt call them aggressive. They are aggressive feeders and will eat anything they can ime but they arent aggressive like most cichlids fighting and glassbanging and such. Just be careful they do have very large mouths and will likely outgrow your birchir very quickly
 
I have a endlichiri that's 3" they hit a foot or more in the first year if a p bass grows faster than that then holy crap lol and my lapradieis already 14"... So I don't think he will out grow them to fast

They aren't aggressive like many other cichlids as brich999 pointed out, but they are predators, and their main diet is fish. They will as a rule, eat any fish they can swallow, and maybe even a larger one, if the fish is slow.
