Peacock bass and aro problems?

I put the p.bass in the tank with the aro yetserday the p.bass is about 10" and the aro is a green asian at about 12". The p.bass was in the corner all day yesterday suppose settling in but when ever the ar swam near it he turned on its side and flared its gills. This morning its looking a little damaged it has a torn fin and some scuffs now will this settle down or will I need to remove the bass?????

i think the arro as took a disliking to him and i would move it before u lose it

u might be lucky and they might settle but monitor carefully

is it just the pbass and aro in the tank?

if so, might be a bigger problem.....

either way, give it some time...pbass are hardy and can take a little showing of dominance....

I have 1x aro 1x p.bass 4xsilver tigs 2xrays 1xfire eel 1xsorubim lima 1xornate pim and 2 birchirs all has been fine absolutely no aggression until yesterday when I put in the bass. What do you guys think I should do?

JUST MONITOR THE FISH THE ARRO MIGHT CALM DOWN

Seems like the Arro is showing who is boss, just send him to me in Mississippi and that should solve your problem!!!

Watch them closely...I have 4 7" pbass in with my 15" aro and they're doing great....hopefully they well be ok together
