I have two baby Peacock Bass about 3 1/2" and I want to buy a Jar that is about 4 1/2", it's going for $39 which I think is a pretty good deal and I was wondering if they would be ok with each other, I know Jars don't do good with tankmates, but i've read somewhere that they had them with Ck's and basses...I hope they are good together because I really want to get it... if anyone can share their experiences or advice thanks!

right now i have a 13" jar with 3 pbass that are 10-12". one 7" pbass, a ray, a 6" goby and 12" del. haveny had any problems. but you never know, some fish will be aggressive other not so much.

Should be good for a while depending on what size tank you got. When the Jar reaches about 8 inches or so, he may go crazy! :screwy: or may not.:) I raised my 14" Jar with a pleco since they were small. He messes with him from time to time but nothing serious. Any other fish in there, he'd kill um for sure.:irked: So, I'd do it and keep them together for a while, and when the Jar gets bigger, just keep an eye on that dude!

Give it a try, I've heard that in some cases if you put your jar in with tankmates at a small size they might be alittle bit more tolerant? Good luck, oh yea were you get your pbass from?
Ive seen some at corals along time ago but hella exspenisve, like 15 bucks for a 3-4inch one.

Yeah I got um from Coral Fish...they usually are $13.99, you can go to lake wilson and catch one for free, no guarentee on the size though. Oh what temperature should the water be for arrowana's 70-80???
