I'm pretty sure they are, he was protecting them also, how do I know for sure, only a coup,e white ones, rest almost look like bun seeds, but gold, is that good?
Brown is good. Even if the eggs are infertile, the female (mostly) will still protect the eggs, even after she eats them.
Did the bass lay the eggs on a rock or some sort?

If they are the brown gold does that mean the male did his job, or is that the color that the eggs where when they came from the female?
