Yes it has a tag on it. I went today and caught 44 Peacock bass in less then 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All small but what a blast!

I dont know. I would say Florida from what I have seen but you cant beat the weather and scenery here. You also need to go out on a boat here. Not alot of luck or access points from the shore.

The largest peacock bass that I caught from shore here in Hawaii was 5.4 lbs. and the next biggest was 4.9 lbs. My kids and I regularly catch peacock bass in the 3 lbs. range from shore. I know of others who have caught +8 lbs fish from shore. I know that there are bigger peacock bass here in Hawaii but I have not caught any as of yet.
