Hey guys, I finally got my 7" wild Kelberi peacock bass to readily take food when dropped in after 8 days of owning him. Right now he'll go after whole night crawlers and any sort of small fish. His colour looks a little dull, he shows only green and some yellow and as well as his black stripes are a little faint. Is there any sort of live food I can feed him that will enhance his colours? Or atleast any frozen food that will do so ie: Silversides. Here's the following that I know I have available to me: Bait minnows (I just catch them myself), round gobies, rosy reds, crayfish (in the summer), and whatever frozen thing my LFS's might have... I'm not even entirely sure he'll take frozen food yet. So what sort of live food do you think is the least-messy and/or the healthiest? But ghost shrimp are off my list since the only place with em is petsmart and they run at $1 each -.- and there's no where I know that sells feeder guppies... And I doubt he'll take any sort of pellets ANYTIME soon. But I can also catch some small yellow perch for him maybe? So what do you guys suggest, Thanks!

Once he settles in his colors will start to brighten up. Don't worry too much about what he is eating just as long as he is eating and trust me when I say this, before you know it he will be eating you out of house and home. Get him on pellets.
