peacock bass have ick

Noticed some ick on 2 p.bass i relocated last week

What would you guys recommend to clear it up?

There is a tire track eel, and 2 needle fish int he same tank.

It's a 40g breeder. was just a temporary home for them till I found them a new home....


Also the tank has plants in it...so any recommendations please work with those =]

What plants do you keep?

I'd recommend treating all your fish. Be sure you dissolve the salt first before adding to the tank sinc you have a tire track eel in there. I'd just do 0.2% saline solution. Again, see link above for instructions.

if salt and temp treatment dosnt work and it didnt for me mine was also a bad case of ich i had to go to lfs and find a med that didnt contain malacite green nasty stuff what i got was sentry aq mardel coppersafe treats all external parasites but cant be used with plants or snales do to the fact it will kill them the active ingreadient is chelated copper sulfate and this cleared up the ich in 2 or 3 days and stays in the water for a month and unlike malacite green it doesnt build up in the water good luck with the ich treatment
