Hello. I’m new to the forums but I just got 3 baby peacock bass in my 125 tank, ehiem heater set at 80, my water levels are great and normal.

ive Had the fish for about almost 2 weeks, they was healthy and normal for the first week, until December 23, I turned off my led lighting at night before bed, woke up next morning and turned the light back on to feed, they would eat and when I came back an hour later one of the bass would be at the bottom not acting normal , I don’t know WHAt it can be ? right now the fish is hiding in the top corner , all my other fishes are doing fine. Swimming around and eating , i have only fed them bloodworms and pelets, no feeders . Can it be a parasite or what else can be the issue ?The bass was acting fine and normal until I turned off the light one night . , I have one baby Jack Dempsey and peacock bass. All temenisis bass

Update, the bass fins look like it has some
Type of fin rot or something, breathing really hard, colors are really dark , and swimming very weak

Raise the temp to 82-83 and start dosing with salt. Watch for signs of infection.

Yes I have added salt before I went to bed last night and this morning before I went to work and raised temps. The back fins looks like it’s infected , what disease and parasite do bass get ? As I have had bass before and never had any problem with them in the past. Only until I moved

How often do you do water changes? And how much water do you change.

How often do you do water changes? And how much water do you change.

Last time I did a 10-30% water change when I started noticing the bass acting funny. I did the water change, that was on 12-24-19

but other than thag I do 10-30% every week. I try not to leave a lot of waist on the bottom of tank.

I would Raise the amount of water changes and how much you change

Came home to a dead fish. Don’t know what the cause was. My other 3 fishes are doing fine

My last 3 fishes are doing fine , but I would like to know if any other bass keepers had thag issue ? Any parasites or disease I should know about ?
