A friend of mine is gettin outta the freshwater fish hobby and concentrating on saltwater...he has a 6in temensis bass that he said i can have but he has a lil ich on him and i was wondering if i could just treat him in my 125 with my other stock...just turn up the heat, add some salt and cure him...will that be ok? or is it just too much to do with the rest of my fish in the 125...i would really like to get the temensis being i have a orino already and if i had another tank that i could quarantine him in i would and honestly i dont really trust my friend to heal him, lol, any suggestions would be appreciated

keep temp at 87 and add salt.

adding my friends "ichy" fish to my 125 THEN tryin to cure the "ichy" bass in my tank with my fish in there will be ok though?

yep.....do you have a QT tank? and what other fish do you got in the 125?

i have a small quarantine tank but no filter for it...in my tank now is tiger red oscar, albino tiger red oscar, clown knife, 2 silver dollars, orinocensis peacock bass, and a high fin achara catfish....all under 7-8in....FYI i just healed my orino about a month ago from ich that i think was caused by some baitfish i fed them from a bait store but i cured him just fine

If you put the Tem with your current stock, the rest of the fish will more or likely get ich too.. however keep the temp at a constant 87 and add salt like hayn said and you should be sweet..
