peacock bass ID please everyone

gday all, this is a pic i was sent from a fella who has a pair of these bass. its the male out of the pair and they have bred in the past and are looking at breeding again soon. i was just wondering what sort everyone thinks they are? i was told that they were wild caught, but im not sure what to think. Please give me your opinions!

chizzle, yea i agree. not sure how old the pic is or anything. in your opinion would it be wild caught? can you tell from pics? im fairly new to the bass

with monos it's hard or impossible to tell if they are wild caught, or any cichla. maybee the dorsal is from the fisherman dragging him home, lol.
