i live in socal and was wondering what ppls opinions on it are my pond is 400 gal but its above ground i know temp issues are there my water as of latly is at 84 ish during the day i havnt done night temps but ill get them for tonight i was think a larger fish might be ok but lmk what u all think plz no unnecessary remarks about this post plz and tyt =)

Take your night temps. I bet if you made a make shift greenhouse over the pond it would work wonders. If i was in hawaii I would have a pond full of tropicals.

I think 10"+ cichla would be fine in summer, but in winter when it gets 50 degrees or so, I wouldn't.
Good luck

You can always heat it, it might cost "chedda" though as Gansgter says.
