Has any one ever done this? I have a 115 Gal. That I am dying to plant! It has dual over flows and a 35 gallon sump! I plan on only running my sump at night as it will off gas beneficial Co2. I will be using a pressurized Co2 system w/ reactor. I will be running a 48" 4 bulb HO T5. I have had really good success with my most recent planted 40 gal. That I will include pictures of... Keep in mind this aquarium has only been planted for 26 days. Enough rambling about the 40. As far as my 115 goes does any one have a large planted aquarium with large predatory fish? I have a 8-10" orino p-bass that would look amazing in a planted aquarium I am just concerned with the fish uprooting plants and having large bio load? However he/she will be the only fish in the aquarium. Please has any one out there ever tried this?

I didn't do this, but my coworker did when I was working at an aquarium maintenance company. He grew out 7 peacocks, a pleco, 2 warmouths and a synodontis in a planted 125. It was mostly java fern, anubias, and water sprite under 2 36" 2-bulb standard output t5 fixtures (about $50 each). It never grew algae.

He used a canister filter and no co2
