Peacock bass or pike cichlid

I have a 55 gallon that is now empty I want one cool fish should I get a pike cichlid or peacock bass

peacocks will out grow a 55 but if you dnt mind that there 2 big for the tank pikes are cool an some will be fine in 55 i think id go with pike enles you get a different kinda peacock not just a regular

A Pike Cichlid would definitely be best. Peacock bass can get to 2 ft and you'd need a pretty big tank to house it for life.

Pbass get way to big for a 55g, and so would some types of pike. I would really only consider dwarf pike sp. for a 55g.
